About

I am a Finnish actress based in Helsinki. I’ve always loved telling stories, whether it’s through writing articles, dancing a contemporary dance choreography, practicing my piano playing or, at its’ best, through playing a character on a stage or in front of a camera.

I am an Actors Academy Finland graduate. The Meisner technique based training really resonated with me. My job as an actress is not to concentrate on my own performance but to listen to my partner, let the imaginary circumstances affect me and my partner’s words land in me – and then simply react.

I’m passionate about learning new things. Right now, I’m working on perfecting my standard American accent. Next to Finnish and English, I’ve also done roles in German, jawohl! My head is always buzzing with new ideas, but my two little daughters have taught me to enjoy the present moment as well. And the lyrics to oh so many Disney movie songs.

My Barchelor's degree studies in media and communications taught me a great deal about writing and constructing a storyline, but my desire to interpret stories instead of just writing them is what draws me to stage and film making.
